Currently we are working in conjunction with other groups and organisations to facilitate the following for Dursley:

On View shop window

On View Project - an arts based initiative, this seeks to use empty shop windows to display the work of local artists.  Originating in Silver Street, the project has extended to Parsonage Street.


Dursley & Cam Community Plan - help shape the future of your community. Every organisation in Dursley and Cam should be involved - Contact Us so that your group doesn't miss out

Sculpture and Fun Trail - this project, launched in 2008, is set in Twinberrow Woods and showcases art created by all members of the community including local school children. New this summer are additional works and two interpretation boards jointly funded by Dursley Town Council and Stroud District COuncil.

 

Alcohol Free Zone -  came into force on May 1st 2010, and applies to the whole parish.  It is now an offence to drink alcohol in a public place.

The replacement Youth Centre - Connect Dursley  is planned for 11/11A May Lane; the Project Team are currently seeking financial support for the scheme. 

Highfields Play Area - this area is currently owned and managed by Stroud District Council.  A group of residents have obtained funding to install play equipment and a BMX track     The official opening will be at 3pm on Monday August 23rd.
