In partnership with Sainsbury's, Stroud District Council and the local Dursley Business Inclusive group, the Town Council have managed to obtain 25 car parking spaces within the Sainsbury's carpark for local businesses to use during 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
It is anticipated that reducing the demand for parking by staff will help visitors to the town find suitable parking to access shops and businesses in the town centre.
