Tool Thefts

Over the last few months we have had an increase in Tool Thefts from vehicles within the Dursley and District Community. The offender(s) seem to be targeting power/work tools. We would like to remind everyone not to give these offenders the opportunity to commit this crime and to remove all tools from their vehicle. Dursley Neighbourhood Policing team have got a number of Crime Prevention Packs with Property Marking UV Pens, 'No Tools are left in this vehicle' Stickers and information on how to keep your property safe. If you would like one of these packs please make contact with PCSO Joshua Griffiths on Joshua.griffiths@gloucestershire.pnn.police.uk or phone 101.

Crime Stoppers

Dursley Neighbourhood Policing Team are spreading the Crime Stoppers message.

As an independent charity, Crimestoppers is always looking for opportunities to remind anyone with information on a crime that they can remain 100% anonymous by using our online or telephone service that operates 24 hours a day 365 days of the year. Like many communities, Dursley has its fair share of Anti-Social Behaviour and related crimes, we would encourage anyone with information wanting to remain anonymous to contact Crimestoppers, we want to know what you know, not who you are

"PCSO Joshua Griffiths of Dursley Neighbourhood Policing Team welcomed the Crimestoppers road show to Dursley town centre. He stressed how important it was for the police to work with their community to tackle crime and Anti-Social Behaviour. He stated 'that its members of the public that make their communities safer and we encourage anyone with information about crime or Anti-Social Behaviour to somehow make contact with us" Even by staying anonymous and reporting it through crime stoppers, we can still act'.

If you wish to report any information on crime or anti-social behaviour and wish to remain anonymous please contact crime stoppers on 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org
