Councillor Profile

As a relatively new homeowner in the area, I consciously chose to move my family to Dursley, as I felt there is something special about this rural area. I was originally brought up in East Anglia, in a small town outside of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire – and I felt 'at home' here.

Over the past 12 months, I've enjoyed reading and hearing about local news; coupled with wanting to develop long term roots here within the town - I think this position within the Council is ideal timing to become more involved with what Dursley has to offer.

My ethos is fundamentally based around Service. For the past 16 years, I've been employed as a Civil Servant working for the Ministry of Defence. I moved from Cambridge in 2009 to Bristol to continue my career with the MOD and enjoyed many key achievements over this time.
