Councillor Profile

I have lived in a Dursley for 5 years in November, before that I lived in New York. I hold dual citizenship but I am British Born. I live on Forge Road with my husband Paul, and 3 year old son, Finley.

Here's a little bit about my and my little family. I have worked at the Midcounties Coop Pharmacy in Dursley town for about 4.5 years where I am a qualified dispensing assistant, I work 18 hours a week over 3 days. My husband is an electrical engineer and site manager. Finley, attends Tree Tops nursery, however in September he will attend St Joseph's Preschool in Nymphsfield.

In my spare time I try to do as much volunteer work that I can: Macmillan coffee mornings, cupcake day for Dementia, rock painting for Dursley Rocks and participating in the yarn bombing for Remembrance day. Last summer, I joined a new group of ladies to help "paint the town pink", which we are continuing this year. I've also joined Team Henlow to walk in the memory walk this September.

My objective as Town Councillor will be to do my best in helping the rest of the team to continue to make Dursley a thriving, safe and sought after town especially for growing families. To be honest, there's nowhere else I'd rather raise my son.
