"Schoolasaurus" provides a unique dinosaur experience with a real palaeontologist and artist Aimee Hacker.

Children will learn about local fossils and dinosaurs in a fun and creative way.

29th Aug - Lino Printing

10 to 12.30pm 4-8years
1.30 to 4pm 8+ years

£20 per session.

Dursley Farmers Market is a local produce market which is held once month between March and December under the Town Hall in Dursley, Gloucestershire.

It is every second Saturday between March and December, from 8.30am-1pm.

Come along to this fun workshop and learn how to make your very own felted toadstool. You don't have to stick to the traditional colours if you don't want to, think bright pinks or funky purples or choose something to match your home colour schemes! You will have the choice to make it any shape or style you want, there will be lots of examples to look at on the day. Helen will guide you through the techniques and skills needed to create your very own toadstool to grace a shelf or sideboard in your home and brighten up your autumn decor. All materials are included for this morning class.

Learn how to design, cut and print your own original lino blocks onto fabric. Using easy to cut lino, you will make blocks that you can take home and use again and again on fabric or paper. Tea towel or bag supplied to print on, or bring your own washed cotton fabric. You will also be able to buy blank cotton cushion covers.

Christmas is a special time when we unwrap unique and personal ornaments each year to hang on our trees.

Come and join Helen and make your own felted Christmas Tree decoration to either keep or give as a gift to someone special.

In this class you will have a choice of which ornament you would like to create from a wide selection. You can choose from A Felted Soldier, Nutcracker, Choir Person, Santa, Elf, Robin, Christmas Tree, Snowman or Christmas Pudding. You can choose on the day. Helen will guide you through each step along the way and give you tips and tricks to help.

Create a Sterling Silver Bangle with Wendy Murphy

During this informative and friendly class, Wendy will guide you through the traditional silversmithing techniques of cutting, filing, soldering and polishing your way to making your own sterling silver bangle. You can also texture your piece and stamp letters on it to make a highly personal piece to take away at the end. This workshop is an ideal introduction to this highly rewarding artisan craft. Students can progress onto further workshops to make a ring, pendant and earrings.
