Residents’ Views on Crime in Gloucestershire
Dursley Town Council would like to make local residents aware of a survey by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Gloucestershire to conduct a survey with residents to gather their opinions about their perceptions of crime in their local area. DURSLEY UNITED CHARITY Education Awards
Dursley United Charity invites applications for grants from those living in Dursley, Uley, Stinchcombe or Cam attending education courses. Grants are awarded on a discretionary basis in October and are for smaller items rather than course fees. The closing date for applications to be submitted is 10th October 2023. The trustees of the Cam Institute Charity have funds available to assist organisations which provide facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation for the benefit of the residents of Cam (Dursley based organisations can apply so long as they can show they are benefitting Cam residents too).

Dursley is getting ready to welcome the Tour of Britain 2023 on Saturday 9th September.

The cyclists are expected to arrive around 2:34pm travelling into the town from the Dursley Road, along Kingshill Road, Castle Street, Silver Street and out along Uley Road.

This list consists of buildings, features, street signs and the remains of some historic estates. War Memorial Recreation Ground: Pavilion Upgrade Consultation
Dursley Town Council are looking for views on our plans for an upgrade to the Pavilion on the War Memorial Recreation Ground (WMRG) which will include a new public toilet facility and additional garage/storage area.

War Memorial Recreation Ground: Playground Closure
Dursley Town Council have taken the decision to close the playground on the War Memorial Recreation Ground over the weekend due to a wasps nest being located within the play equipment.
The nest is being treated over the weekend and I hope to be able to re-open the playground on Monday.
