Congratulations to our Deputy Town Clerk, Leah Wellings, who recently obtained the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) qualification.

The National Training Strategy has developed a customised qualification for the sector, the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA). This core skills qualification is awarded to those who submit a portfolio of evidence, demonstrating the skills they have in local council administration

Leah's portfolio was passed on the first attempt which only a very small percentage of candidates achieve.
