Welcome to Dursley Information Brochure

Today (6th February) is the launch day for the new "Welcome to Dursley" tourist information brochure, which has been produced by the Dursley Business Inclusive group (DBI) with the support of Dursley Town Council.

The brochure main feature is an easy to read map of the town, highlighting key buildings, facilities and businesses within the town.

The brochure includes information on places of interest, things to do, places to stay in Dursley. With other feature including a little of the history of Dursley and information on Dursley Welcomes Walkers.

The brochure has been funded with a grant from Dursley Town Council and advertising revenue from members of the DBI.

The Town's Deputy Mayor and Chair of DBI, Cllr Suzi Abraham said "I'm very pleased that the brochure is now available as it has been a key aim of the DBI to highlight what Dursley has to offer. I would like to express my thanks to Denver Thirwell for leading on the project on behalf of DBI and to Richard Olpin who did so much for us by designing the lovely map."

5000 copies of the brochure will be made available at tourist attractions, accommodation venues and places of interest across Stroud District over the next few weeks.

The Dursley Business Inclusive group meet month, normally the second Thursday of the month ay 5:30pm in Jacobs House (Dursley Town Council office) and are always looking for new members to join.
