FESTIVE DURSLEY: FRIDAY NIGHT FROM 4.30PM
Only a few days to go until 2018 Festive Dursley event on Friday 30th November...
THE LIGHTS SWITCH ON
Our lights will be switched on at 6pm by our Town Mayor Neil Grecian, and Celebrity Guest Ben Nelmes from the Jersey Four.
Characters from Robin Hood will also be making an appearance!
FESTIVE DURSLEY ROAD CLOSURES
Parsonage Street will be closed to all vehicles from 2pm
Castle Street (one hour) will be closed from 1pm
NEW FOR THIS YEAR A WINTER WONDERLAND GARDEN
Located opposite the former Barclays Bank, this magical snowy paradise will feature Festive Reindeer, atmospheric lighting and if you look hard enough you may spot a snowman or two!
STALLS AND LATE-NIGHTSHOPPING
View the Festive Window Displays and browse and shop at the many stalls selling a wide range of goods.
ATTRACTIONS & PERFORMERS
Rednock Swing band featuring Ben Nelmes, from Jersey Four at 4.30 -5.30pm at the Market Place.
Tomfoolery performs his magic tricks for you outside the Cobblers/Pet shop at 4.30pm
Dursley CofE Primary Academy Choir 4.45-5.00pm outside Bennett Jones
Morris dancing from 'Ragged and Old' near Iceland 5.00 and 6.15pm
Countdown and Lights Switch on at 6pm at the Christmas Tree followed by a short fire work display.
Santa's Grotto opens at 6.15pm next to Simply Footcare.
The Lost Rock band and Ben Nelmes from Jersey Four perform at the Market Place at 6:30pm.
Our MC Terry Pascoe will be making announcements through the evening keeping everyone informed.
And of course we have Father Christmas making an appearance.
We also have snow and a Fair too on what promises to be a great night.
