Festive Window Display 2018

Festive Window Display 2018

At Friday's successful Festive Dursley event, the Mayor Neil Grecian presented the awards to the winners of the 2018 Festive Window Display.

The entries were judged by the Mayor, Cllr Tom Arnold (Festive Dursley), Kathleen Hanbury (The Door Youth Project) and some members of the Vibe Youth Sessions.

Mayor Grecian said "it is getting more difficult to judge this event each year, with more entries and quite stunning displays, it is clear that a lot of time and effort goes into each window."

This years winner was the Mind Shop in Parsonage Street. Mayor Grecian presented the award to Jo Scott-Thomson and Jade Clift.

Second place went to Caroline Marrow at Inches and third place to Sharron at the Angel Treasure Trove.

Due to the quality of this year's competition, the judges awarded "High Commended" certificates to TSB, Dursley Library, Simply Foot Care, Hunters Estate Agent and a special award to the residents of No. 12 Pederson Close for their charity garden display at the bottom of Long Street.

Dursley Town Council would like to thank Classy Glass & Awards Ltd for supplying the winners trophy.
