Damage to Planters - Sunday 2nd June 2019

Damage to Planters - Sunday 2nd June 2019

Sadly and not for the first time this summer the planters in the town centre have been targeted by mindless vandals.

The planters are sponsored by a number of organisations with the plants supplied by volunteers and the Dursley in Bloom group who put in so much effort for our town to look its best throughout the year.

Sunday's incident saw five individuals tip one of the large "chest" style planters over and the Town Council and Police would request any assistance in identifying the culprits. It happened at 3:20am on Sunday 2nd June 2019.

The incident has been reported to the police as Criminal Damage and is registered as incident no. 290 – 03/06/2019. If you have any information which would lead to identifying the culprits please telephone 101 or email the information to 101@gloucestershire.pnn.police.uk
