Town Councillors - An Update

Dursley Town Council have two new Town Councillors and said goodbye to one of our existing Councillors.

Councillor Jan Burdge has resigned from Council following the decision to move to Somerset. Jan, who was in her second spell as Town Councillor will be missed by her fellow Councillors and staff, but we all wish her well in her upcoming move.

The Town Council have co-opted two new persons to Council. Councillor Tyler White was co-opted at our August meeting and most recently Councillor Danae Savvidou at our September meeting.

Cllr Savvidou is seen signing her declaration of acceptance earlier today.

All Town Councillor positions will be re-elected in May 2021, a delay caused by the lockdown restrictions in May 2020. If anyone is interested in becoming a Councillor now or in the future then please contact the Town Clerk for more information.
