Covid 19 - The Use of Play Equipment (UPDATE)

Dursley Town Council have received further guidance from government on the the access to play and leisure facilities during the lockdown and have taken the decision to close the play areas with immediate effect.

This includes all play equipment located at the War Memorial Recreation Ground (WMRG), Highfields Play Area and Kingshill Play Area.

The use of the tennis courts and gym equipment at the WMRG and the BMX track at Highfields Play Area is prohibited for the duration of lockdown.

Residents can exercise outdoors or visit an outdoor public places - with the people you live with, with your support bubble or, when on your own, with 1 person from another household (children under school age, as well as those dependent on round-the-clock care, such as those with severe disabilities, who are with their parents will not count towards the limit on two people meeting outside).
