Dursley Farmers Market & ‘Pedersen Pilgrimage’ this Saturday Morning!

Dursley Farmers Market & ‘Pedersen Pilgrimage’ this Saturday Morning!

Don't miss a visit to support the Dursley Farmers Market this Saturday morning!
Located under the historic Town Hall this bustling little monthly market has the addition of a new stall 'Carl's Deli' for April's visit, bringing a selection of local artisan products for shoppers to discover and enjoy. This is alongside the regular wonderful market produce, shops and cafes in the town.

A 'Pedersen Pilgrimage' cycling event will also be making a special visit to the town.
The event commemorates the production of the iconic Dursley Pedersen bicycle, designed by Mikael Pedersen, and produced in Dursley from the late 1890s to approximately 1917. Members of the Gloucestershire Veteran Cycle Club will bring with them both original Pedersen machines produced in Dursley, and later reproduction Pedersen machines. The Deputy Mayor will welcome them to the town and Heritage Centre at 11:30am on the day.

Free books as well!
There is also a free book event inside St James Church from 9am to 12pm with nearly 1000 books to give away! Any donations people wish to make will be given to the Ukraine Appeal.
