Pancake Race 2023

The 2023 Pancake Race was held earlier today with entrants representing local organisations and businesses taking part.

The final placings were:

1st: Sarah WM, representing Blue Cross.
2nd (joint): Charlie Marwood representing the Escape Room.
2nd (joint) : Jamal Foster, representing the BBC Radio Glos.

A trophy donated by Dursley Business Inclusive, in memory of local volunteer Eileen Nichols, for the best fancy dress costume was awarded to Ophelia Fox who was dressed as an astronaut.

Due to Pancake Day coinciding with the school holiday a Children's Race was held:

1st: Isabelle Sigurs
2nd: Farley Richards

The Town Council would like to thank all the runners who participated and the organisations and businesses who supported the event including Classy Glass who very kindly donated trophies and medals for the race.
