King Charles III Coronation Event - Thank you
Dursley Town Council would like to thank all those who attended and participated at the Coronation event for King Charles III on Saturday. Thankfully the heavy rain passed quicker than forecasted and the afternoon was much drier, allowing Amy Addle's dancers to perform as planned with other events being moved under cover.
Our new Mayor Cllr Alex Stennett performed his mayoral duties for the first time and presented the winners of the Window Decorating and Coronation Cake Competition with their certificates, medal and prizes.
The winners of the cake making competition were:
Adults: Mrs Valerie Smart - photo of Mrs Smart receiving her prize from the Mayor.
Children: Isla Bean (Aged 9)
The Window Competition winners were:
1st Wyke House
2nd Longfield
