VE Day 80 Celebrations 8 May 2025 - Shop Front Window Competition

The winner of the VE Day 80 Shop Front Window competition was announced by the Mayor, Cllr Alex Stennett on Thursday evening. There were many attractive displays, and we would like to thank all the traders who took part.

The judging panel consisted of three Dursley Air Cadets, Julie Campbell from the Dursley and Cam Royal British Legion, Mandy Woodward from Festive Dursley and the Mayor. The panel found it difficult to decide as it was clear that a lot of time and effort had been put into the displays.

The winner is Wyke House, second is Hewitts and third place is Inches. There were two highly commended windows who are awarded to the Traditional Bakery and Dursley Funeral Directors.
