Re-dedication of the Dursley War Memorial

" You are warmly invited to attend the official re-dedication of the Dursley War Memorial to the fallen of World War II, a special occasion to mark the relocation of the memorial plaque that honours and remembers those who served and made the final sacrifice for our community and country.

The dedication will take place on Saturday, 18th October 2025 at 12:00 noon at Dursley War Memorial Recreation Ground.

The World War II Memorial has been relocated within the recreation ground to create a dedicated area for remembrance and reflection. This is a significant moment for Dursley, and we would be delighted if you could join us in paying tribute to the fallen. those who gave so much. Your presence will help make this a truly meaningful and memorable event.
