Over the last six weeks Dursley Town Council have been reviewing the Local Plan Review Emerging Strategy Paper issued by Stroud District Council.
Councillors have attended workshops, briefings and we have worked closely with the members of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group to formulate our response.

The Town Council has been informed that a 200m section of Long Street will be closed to through traffic between Monday 7th and Wednesday 9th January 2019.
This is to allow for resurfacing the new road layout between the new (Victoria Street) junction and the entrance to the Littlecombe housing estate.
Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained.

Stroud District Council are holding a public exhibition at the Methodist Church, Castle Street, Dursley today (Tuesday 11th December) between 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
The public consultation on the emerging strategy will run for 9 weeks from 16 November 2018 to 18 January 2019.
