The Town Council has been notified by Gloucestershire County Council that Long Street is to be closed between 4th June and 16th September to allow for road realignment works to be completed.
This work will connect the new Littlecombe development to the existing road network and realign the Drake Lane/Long Street/Bymacks Lane/Lister Street (Victoria Close) junctions at the bottom of Long Street.

Gloucestershire County Council have informed the Town Council that Pyke Quarry Household Recycling Centre, near Horsley, will be temporarily closed from Monday June 4 to Friday 22 June inclusive. During the closure, the county council will be carrying out important improvement work at the site.

On Saturday 5th May; family, friends and former Council colleagues met at Twinberrow Woods to unveil a new memorial bench for our former Cllr Brian Marsh.
Brain sadly passed away in November 2016. The Councillors and his family agreed that he would like to be remembered in this way. Brian was vary passionate about preserving and looking after local woodlands.
