The winners of the 2019 Festive were announced on Friday evening at the annual Festive Dursley Switch On event. The theme for this year's competition was "Winter Wonderland"
The winners were the Hummingbird Café; owner Suzi Abraham is pictured along with Carmen Bleaken and Megan Lovett in the winning window.

Three days to go until the Dursley Christmas Lights Switch on..
There will be many activities for children to do:
- Collect stickers to complete a trail map and receive a sweet treat;
- View the Winter Garden featuring snow;
- Visit Santa's Grotto;
- Enjoy a Walkabout in Ryan's Winter Garden;
- Have your photo taken in Santa's Sleigh;

This year's annual Festive Dursley Christmas Lights Switch-on Event will take place on FRIDAY 29th NOVEMBER 2019.
ENTERTAINMENT ON THE NIGHT
The Festivities and Entertainment will start from 4:30pm onwards and will include:
A Winter Wonderland Theme
- Stalls and Late Night Shopping
- A Switch-on countdown at the town's real Christmas tree at 6pm with fireworks

At Friday's successful Festive Dursley event, the Mayor Neil Grecian presented the awards to the winners of the 2018 Festive Window Display.
The entries were judged by the Mayor, Cllr Tom Arnold (Festive Dursley), Kathleen Hanbury (The Door Youth Project) and some members of the Vibe Youth Sessions.

Our lights will be switched on at 6pm by our Town Mayor Neil Grecian, and Celebrity Guest Ben Nelmes from the Jersey Four.

Dursley Town Council will be opening up its office, Jacob's House, to the public on Saturday 14th July for the morning. Everyone is welcome and can drop in anytime between 9am and 1pm.

This years Festive Dursley event was a great success with an excellent crowd witnessing the lights turned on by Mark Cummings (Radio Glos) ably assisted by the reigning Carnival King and Queen and supported by cast members from the DODS theatre group.
