Long Street Car Park - Reinstatement of 23 hour waiting limit

Dursley Town Council and our car park management company, District Enforcement Ltd have agreed to reinstate the 23 hour time limit in the Long Street Car Park from Saturday 1st August 2020.

This temporary removal of the maximum waiting time allowed local residents to park their vehicles for longer periods during the lockdown.

Long Street Car Park - Waiting Times Removed

Dursley Town Council and our car park management company, District Enforcement Ltd have agreed to temporarily waive the 23 hour time limit in the Long Street Car Park.

This temporary removal of the maximum waiting time follows requests from local residents who were leaving their homes to move their vehicles contravening the government guidance to stay at home.

Mayor Neil Grecian officially opening the new Long Street Car Park on 2nd July 2019.

The 46 space car park is a new free long stay facility located on the old Reliance House site in Long Street, Dursley. The car park includes disabled bays, motorcycle bays and a cycle stand.

At the Car Park Committee on 26th March 2019 the Councillors agreed that the new car park will be called the Long Street Car Park. This new car park will be free to use and is considered a long stay facility with a maximum waiting time of 23 hours in a 24-hour period.
