Sadly and not for the first time this summer the planters in the town centre have been targeted by mindless vandals.
The planters are sponsored by a number of organisations with the plants supplied by volunteers and the Dursley in Bloom group who put in so much effort for our town to look its best throughout the year.

The Community Engagement Vehicle is visiting Dursley on Saturday 27th January and will be situated in the link (between Parsonage Street and Castle Street) between 8am and 4pm.
Our local PCSO Oli Clark will be accompanied by a police officer and will be able to advise you on signing up for community alerts and the Neighbourhood Policing plan.

The Councillors meet on Tuesday 7th November for the monthly meeting of the Council. On Tuesday the Councillors will be joined by Inspector Brian Clifford who has been invited to discuss the level of policing in the town and the recent increase in anti-social behaviour.

Don't forget to put your clocks back one hour this weekend. British Summer Time officially ends at 2am on Sunday 29th October 2017. This means that over the winter months it gets darker an hour early and for many of this is before we get home from work and school.

We have, with the help of the local police team and community volunteers, been monitoring traffic at known hot spots across the town (e.g. Uley Road) for over 3 years.
Unfortunately over the last year we have experienced a shortage of volunteers which means that the group is in danger of not being able to continue this important community role.
