Queens Platinum Jubilee: Picnic in the Park - Thank You.

Dursley Town Council would like to thank all local residents who turned up in such great numbers at Friday's Picnic in the Park event at the War Memorial Recreation Ground to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

We do hope you enjoyed the event (despite the rain) and we would welcome any comments on whether you would like to see future picnic events on the Rec.

English Oak Trees Planted to Mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Two English Oak trees have been planted in Dursley to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The Town Mayor planted the trees on behalf of the town after they were donated by the Honourable Company of Gloucestershire as part of a scheme offering two free trees to all town and parish councils.
