The Town Council have been informed that Gloucestershire County Council are making changes to some bus services in the Stroud and Dursley area from 4th September to enable people to access essential services.
GCC and Stagecoach will be hosting an event at Sainsbury's in Dursley on the 15th August between 5pm and 7pm to talk to local people and let them know about the changes that may affect them.

The Town Council hosted a meeting on 16th June for officers and Councillors from Gloucestershire County Council and Stroud District Council as part of our ongoing commitment to investigate the parking and transport issues within the town. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the future of the Castle Street car-park which had been subject to debate at the recent Annual Assembly meeting.
