Dursley Matters (Newsletter) NDP Edition - October 2018
The latest version of the Town Council's newsletter "Dursley Matters" is now available on the website.
This special edition focusses on the upcoming referendum on the Town's Neighbourhood Plan (Future Dursley) which will be held on Thursday 15th November 2018.

Throughout the summer the Town Council's ground staff have been busy painting the street furniture in the town centre. This has included the noticeboards, bollards, litter-bins, benches and the Lister engineering items with the aim to improve the appearance of the town centre.

Gold for Dursley in Bloom
It is another golden day for the volunteers of Dursley in Bloom.
At yesterday's Heart of England award ceremony in Burton-on-Trent, the Dursley in Bloom team retained their Gold accreditation in the Small Town Category.
The awards were presented to Dursley in Bloom Chair, Penny Hyde, Dursley in Bloom volunteers Judi Gardner, Sarah Stephens and the Town Clerk, John Kay.

Press Release – Long Stay Car Park Update (August 2018)
Dursley Town Council is pleased to announce that we have appointed our contractor who will construct and complete our car park project. Following a competitive tender process, the Council have appointed experienced Civil Engineering contractor Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd.

Grant Funding 2018/19: 10 days till deadline
Grant Funding 2018/19
Each year Dursley Town Council allocates an amount of money to support local organisations that specifically provide services to the residents of Dursley. Requests and applications for funding are welcome from all organisations that operate in the town.
Applications for the 2018/19 round of funding must be received before Friday 31st August 2018.

Dursley In Bloom 2018
The Heart of England In Bloom judges visited Dursley on the 17th July and were greeted by Penny Hyde, Chair of Dursley In Bloom. The judges, Roger Bach and Mark Wiltshire met with members of the Dursley in Bloom, Dursley Town Council and many of the volunteers and other organisations who supported this year's efforts.

Reliance House: Demolition Completed
The demolition of Reliance House has been completed a week ahead of schedule by our contractor Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd.
The site will remain closed to the public until the car-park is officially opened in October 2018. We would ask people not to try to access the site during this period.
