Throughout the summer the Town Council's ground staff have been busy painting the street furniture in the town centre. This has included the noticeboards, bollards, litter-bins, benches and the Lister engineering items with the aim to improve the appearance of the town centre.

It is another golden day for the volunteers of Dursley in Bloom.

At yesterday's Heart of England award ceremony in Burton-on-Trent, the Dursley in Bloom team retained their Gold accreditation in the Small Town Category.

The awards were presented to Dursley in Bloom Chair, Penny Hyde, Dursley in Bloom volunteers Judi Gardner, Sarah Stephens and the Town Clerk, John Kay.

The Heart of England In Bloom judges visited Dursley on the 17th July and were greeted by Penny Hyde, Chair of Dursley In Bloom. Reliance House: Demolition Completed

Reliance House: Demolition Completed

The demolition of Reliance House has been completed a week ahead of schedule by our contractor Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd.

The site will remain closed to the public until the car-park is officially opened in October 2018. We would ask people not to try to access the site during this period.
