The Heart of England In Bloom judges will visit Dursley tomorrow (10th July 2019) and will be greeted by Penny Hyde, Chair of Dursley In Bloom and Mayor Neil Grecian.

Official Opening of Long Street Car Park

Mayor Neil Grecian officially opening the new Long Street Car Park on 2nd July 2019.

The 46 space car park is a new free long stay facility located on the old Reliance House site in Long Street, Dursley. The car park includes disabled bays, motorcycle bays and a cycle stand.

Litter Picking & Weeding  - Thank you.

Dursley Town Council would like to thank the local residents who volunteered to give up their time on Sunday 30th June.

The volunteers filled an incredible 52 bin-bags of litter and weeds in just two hours at various locations throughout the town centre. Long Street Car Park: Now Open

Long Street Car Park: Now Open

Dursley Town Council are pleased to announce that the new Long Stay car park at Long Street is now open for the public to use.

This new car park will be free to use and is considered a long stay facility with a maximum waiting time of 23 hours in a 24-hour period. This is a similar restriction to the other long stay car park in the town. The enforcement will be controlled by an automatic number plate... Read More »

Dursley was visited today by 10 Pedersen Bike enthusiasts who are coming to the end of a 8 day bike trip which stated in Harwich, South-East England. Over the last week the group of German and Dutch nationals have travelled over 200 miles to visit Dursley.

This afternoon our Deputy Mayor, Cllr Mandy Woodward presented Leslie D Gale "Unsung Hero" awards to Doris Holbrook and Gwyneth Peglar.
